Essential for builders\, developers\, planners\, realtors\, and community leaders. \nMark Holmes \nMark Holmes is a registered Arizona Professional Geologist with more than 26 years of experience managing surface water\, CAP water\, and groundwater across the state. \nHe began his career with the Arizona Department of Water Resources\, where he served as a Hydrologist III and contributed to the agency’s first interactive electronic Hydrologic Map Series. \nMark has held key leadership roles as Water Resources Manager for the City of Mesa\, City of Goodyear\, and the Town of Chino Valley\, helping guide water planning and infrastructure strategy during critical periods of growth. \nHe was appointed by the Governor to serve on the Arizona Water Protection Fund Commission\, where he contributed seven years toward protecting and restoring water resources statewide. He has also been actively involved in multiple regional water organizations\, including the East Valley Water Forum and the Arizona Municipal Water Users Association. \nMark has played a role in the design\, financing\, and construction of four nationally recognized “Top Projects” featured by Water & Waste Digest\, the largest utility publication in the U.S. \nCurrently\, Mark serves as Chair of the Technical Advisory Committee for the Northern Arizona Municipal Water Users Association and acts as a water advisor for the Town of Chino Valley. He has also operated his own water resources consulting firm since 2018\, supporting clients across both the Phoenix and Prescott regions. \nMark holds a Master of Science from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin\, and is a U.S. Air Force veteran\, having served seven years\, including six years stationed at Luke Air Force Base. \nGary Beverly \nGary Beverly holds a PhD degree in Physical Chemistry from the University of California. Since moving to Prescott in 1974\, he taught physical science and alternative energy at Yavapai College\, then worked as a farmer\, contractor\, and businessman. \nSince retiring\, he is an environmental activist focused on protecting the Verde River. He joined CWAG in 2010.
