Meet Rick Kimery, a passionate, client-focused architect with over 20 years of experience delivering exceptional projects across the Mountain West and beyond.
As the founder of JRK Architecture Studio in beautiful Prescott, Arizona, Rick is a licensed architect in Arizona, Montana, and Wyoming, and holds national NCARB certification. He’s led ground-up builds and transformative remodels for commercial, medical office, multifamily and custom residential, light industrial, hospitality, restaurant, K-12 education, and higher-education clients in Arizona, California, Montana, North Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.
From the first conceptual sketch to final punch list and ribbon-cutting, Rick brings hands-on expertise in design, construction documentation, and full-cycle project management. His diverse portfolio means he understands the unique challenges (and opportunities) of building in desert, mountain, and prairie environments.
A proud graduate of the New School of Architecture & Design with a Bachelor of Architecture, Rick combines technical precision with creative problem-solving to turn his clients’ visions into reality, on time and on budget.
When he’s not in the studio or on a job site, you’ll find Rick exploring Arizona’s backroads in his Jeep with his wife Sue (celebrating 25 years together) and their adventure-loving dogs, Bandit and Blondie. After living across the country, Rick and Sue knew Prescott’s four gentle seasons, towering pines, and tight-knit community were the perfect place to plant roots and grow JRK Architecture Studio.
