THE FINAL BOOK IN THE ARTAMA LEGEND will be a speculative fiction collection of short stories, following the characters into their old age. Short stories will allow me to be increasingly experimental—each tale can be from a different point of view or in a different style. I have wanted to write a story backwards. This will be my chance.

Bruce Paul studied philosophy and creative writing at Ohio University. After graduating with honors in 1967, he traveled to San Francisco and lived in the Haight/Ashbury district. As a singer-songwriter, Bruce is the author of many songs, and his short stories, memoirs, and poems are included in multiple “best of” collections. He now lives and writes among the ponderosa pines in the mountains of central Arizona.
